Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Charles Scott Sherrington, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 4 January 1897 |
Description | Harrison states that Sherrington's second communication 'On Reciprocal Innervation of Antagonistic Muscles' was only passed to him on Saturday evening following his return from vacation, but the date of receipt has been noted and so it is registered as having been received on 29 December 1896.
He is sorry to have missed Sherrington that day, and to hear that he was unable to make the abstract when he called the previous week. Harrison had left instructions to provide the facilities for Sherrington to make the abstract, and apologises that he was not able to do so. Harrison notes the importance of an abstract before the paper is read. |
