DescriptionHarrison acknowledges receipt of the Under Secretary's letter of yesterday, B.21471 1/5, stating that Her Majesty [the Queen] has been pleased to consent to receive the address from the Royal Society.

Encloses a draft of the address which it is intended to present to Her Majesty [not attached]. The Under Secretary's letter has been laid before the President [Lord Lister] who desires Harrison to beg the Under Secretary to express his thanks to the Secretary of State for his welcome communication.
