DescriptionJames is now able to send Scott the invitation for the Malpighi festival. By this post he is acknowledging the card to the Secretary and mentioning Scott's name as the Royal Society's delegate. James now finds that Malpighi did give the Society his portrait and that he mentioned it in a letter to Hooke dated 20th November 1680.
