States a resolution resolved by Council today that the Joint Permanent Eclipse Committee be reappointed, to consist on the part of the Royal Society of; Captain Abney, Mr Christie, Dr Common, Sir W Huggins, Sir J N Lockyer, Major MacMahon, Professor Schuster, Dr G J Stoney, General Tennant and Admiral Sir W J L Wharton. The President, Treasurer, Secretaries and Foreign Secretary are ex-offico members of this as of other occasional committees and request that in future notices of meetings may be sent to them as to other members of the Committee.
