DescriptionThe Secretary's letter of the 4 December has been laid before the Council of the Royal Society who have appointed a small Committee to consider the form in which the tables of metric equivalents, and the table of the Board of Metric Standards should be scheduled to the proposed Orders in Council mentioned in the Secretary's letter. Lists members of the Committee; President, Treasurer, Secretaries, R B Clifton, G Carey Foster, T E Thorpe and Professor W C Unwin.

Council are of the opinion that the work of the Committee would be greatly facilitated if its meeting were attended by one or more representatives of the Board of Trade. Asks the Secretary to make arrangements for such representation of the Board. The first meeting of the Committee will be held on 20th at 3pm at the Royal Society.
