DescriptionThe paper by Ferrier and [William Aldren] Turner on Cerebral Cortical Tracts, as amended at the desire of the Committee of papers, has been duly considered and the recommendations of the Committee are held to have been duly carried out except in the case of the prefatory paragraph which Ferrier was requested to insert, giving the state of the case resulting from previous investigations, which is considered inadequate.

Trusts Ferrier will be able to make this paragraph more satisfactory and give the matter early attention so that they may proceed with the paper's publication without further delay. Returns Ferrier's amended text for this purpose [not enclosed].
