DescriptionIs unable to answer Austin's question as to how many Americans have belonged to the Royal Society as Fellows or Foreign Members since its foundation as it would take too long to research. In answer to her other questions: 1) Mr Thomas Edison is not a Foreign Member of the Society and 2) the following men are present on the list [of the Royal Society member's]: Professor A Agassiz, Professor J Willard Gibbs, Dr S P Langley, Professor S Newcomb, Professor H A Rowland.
