DescriptionA special meeting of the Royal Society will be held on 31 March to receive preliminary accounts of the observations made during the recent total eclipse. The Astronomer Royal and Sir J Norman Lockyer have promised to make communications and exhibit photographs.

Hopes that Hills will be able to attend and to give a preliminary account of his observations. If he is able to attend, asks to receive the title of his communication as soon as possible.
