DescriptionDirected to inform that the President and Council of the Royal Society accept the suggestion of My Lords that the Delegate for the International Geodetic Association, if not in the service of the Government, should be paid at a rate of £7 per night when absent from home to cover subsistence. The President and Council recommend the appointment of Mr George Howard Darwin (Fellow of the Royal Society and Plumian Professor of Astronomy in the University of Cambridge, as Delegate.
