TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Joseph Fayrer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date2 June 1898
DescriptionIn reply to letter, Harrison is sorry that Fayrer has been waiting so long for the private copies of the obituary notice of Sir Richard Quain. Heard from Miss Parry's letter that there had been a misunderstanding of the order from this office and the whole matter had been delayed. Harrison immediately gave instructions for it to be pushed forward without delay and hopefully the copies should be with Fayrer soon. The unfortunate occurence has applied to the whole number of the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' in which Fayrer's memoir appeared.
