DescriptionEncloses a letter which Harrison has drafted for Rucker's signature [not enclosed], to Professor Karl Pearson, whose paper was passed for '[Philosophical] Transactions [of the Royal Society]' by the Chairman of the Mathematics Committee during the vacation. Explains why the concurrence of the Chairman of the Zoology Committee was not also sought.

Has drafted the letter with the view of using the first paragraph for a circular to be employed in cases where papers are proceeded without waiting for a vote of Council. Asks if Rucker approves of this form.
