|By direction of the Secretaries, acting in a matter of urgency in Lister's absence from town, Harrison is sending out in Lister's name a letter, a copy of which he encloses [not attached], to those Fellows who represented the Society at the last International Conference, and trusts he may receive Lister's confirmation of this action. Asks if Lister will be in town before proceeding to Liverpool and asks for an address for communications for the next ten days.
