DescriptionIs directed by the President and Council to forward two copies of the Report of Lord Rayleigh's Committee on the establishment of a National Physical Laboratory, and also a copy of a letter on the subject from Her Majesty's Government, and a draft of a letter in reply, considered by Council on the 3 [November] [no enclosures].

Is directed to draw Strachey's attention to the paragraph in the Treasury letter and to those parts of the reply referring to the Meteorological Council, and to ask for comments or suggestions from the Meteorological Council by 11 November.
