DescriptionDr [Michael] Foster has sent on Lucas' letter to him of the 17th, and at his request sent Lucas the only bill the Society has received for instruments ordered for Malaria observers. The Society has not paid this, but they have paid two sums of £50 to Drs [John William Watson] Stephens and [Samuel Rickard] Christophers for their expenses up to the present.

Presumes the Crown Agents will refund to the Society this £100 and will adjust any balance shown when the vouchers come in, with the Observers debiting their account if the vouchers do not cover the whole amount.
