Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor John Scott Burdon-Sanderson, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 12 July 1898 |
Description | The notice sent out for a meeting of the Malaria Committee was issued without explanation immediately after the Council meeting but Professor [Michael] Foster desires Harrison to explain to those who were not present at the last Council meeting that the matter under reference has arisen out of a request from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, that the Council would appoint a Committee to consult with representatives of the Colonial Office with a view to a thorough investigation being undertaken into malarial fever. The meeting tomorrow is to be held for a preliminary discussion of the matter under reference. |
