|Title||Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr D H Scott, Fellow of the Royal Society|
|Date||4 January 1898 [4 January 1899]|
|Description||Miss Dawson's paper on "Nitragin" was, by direction of the late Chairman of the Botany Committee (Sir W. Thiselton-Dyer) sent to Professor Vines as a third referee, together with the reports by Scott and Mr Warington. Vines has now reported on the paper.|
Scott's own paper on Medullosa anglica is with the second referee so there will soon be sufficient business to call a meeting of the Botany Committee.
During the vacation, Harrison saw a letter from Scott to Dr [Michael] Foster about a meeting of the Committee. Is awaiting instructions as to summoning the Committee from Foster, who is currently abroad.
