DescriptionAcknowledges letter stating that the Commissioners of the Admiralty will afford facilities to Dr G H Fowler and a second observer to enable to make collections of the Plankton of the Faeroe Channel (location included) in the summer of 1900 and that they will be allowed to embark on H.M.S. "Research" for this purpose. Dr Fowler has been requested to place himself in communication with the Hydrographer on the subject.
