TitleCopy letter from Robert William Harrison, to Dr S B Mitra, 36 Wellington Street, Calcutta
Date21 July 1899
DescriptionIn reply to Mitra's letter of the 8th June, it is the practice of the Society to decline to publish any paper which has been published elsewhere previously to its being communicated to the Royal Society. The presentation to the Royal Society of an abstract which has been more fully treated in another publication would strengthen rather than weaken the application of this rule.
