DescriptionThe Royal Society has two octavo size engraved portraits of Charles Linneas, one with a lengthy title beginning 'the legend Carolus Linneas…' and the other simply 'Sir Charles Linneas'. Both of these appear to have been engraved from the same painting, though the engravings are not identical.

Rix is sending the Soirée catalogue to Mr Murray as requested.
