Date29 January 1889
Description'Dear Sir,
Adverting to your note of last November, I now hope very shortly to be able to send you the volumes of Phils. Trans. ['Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'] for 1889. The volumes are now issued only once a year, generally in the month of January. You have already had the volume for 1887, so with those which will be sent you, I hope in about a week's time, your set will, I think be complete.
I am, Dear Sir, faithfully yours
Herbert Rix
