|Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to W Frazer, Royal Irish Academy, 19 Dawson Street, Dublin
|10 February 1888
|Notes that all copies of 'Philosophical Transactions' must be applied for, but that the statute which prevents standing orders from being placed is up for reconsideration by the Royal Society shortly. Also states that its division into parts has been dropped in favour of two annual volumes - mathematical and biological. The volumes for 1887 are newly published, with those for the preceding year to published in this form each January.
A postscript notes that he has ordered Frazer's copies to be sent off.
