TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor George Downing Liveing, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date5 March 1888
DescriptionIn relation to Liveling's letter of 24 February suggesting The Woodbury Type Company to reproduce the photographic illustration to his 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society' paper, Rix notes that the price quoted was very high. Rix further enquires on behalf of the Secretaries whether a photographic process, of which Rix will send an example, would suit his illustration. He further states that a photo plate by this process would be a more reasonable price.
