TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Reverend Charles William Boase, Exeter College, Oxford
Date14 March 1888
DescriptionFurther to his note of 12 March, Rix explains that he was not aware of the arrangement of twelve years standing by which the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' are sent to Exeter College for Professor Edwin Ray Lankester, and in fact only the printers themselves were aware of it. The printers state they had posted number 255, but Rix has sent a duplicate copy which he hopes will arrive safely.
