DescriptionRivington's letter of 4 April announcing the bequest of 200 pounds to the Scientific Relief Fund of the Royal Society by the late Thomas Blizard Curling, Fellow of the Royal Society, was read at a recent meeting of the Council. Foster has been directed by the President and Council of the Society to send thanks for Rivington's communication and assure him that the gift will be carefully used as intended.
