TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Dent & Company, 61 Strand
Date16 July 1888
DescriptionHaving received a letter from John Evans, Royal Society Treasurer, on the matter of electric regulation of their clocks, Rix asks if any special adjustment would need to be made to the clocks being made for them. If so, what would the additional cost be? The Royal Society electrician will lay on the current from their own batteries, so it is only for work to the clocks themselves that Rix requires an estimate.
