TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Captain William de Wiveleslie Abney
Date20 December 1887
DescriptionAnother account has come in from Dallmeyer, despite Rix's belief that the matter of the eclipse had been concluded. The items listed as supplied to Abney are the fitting of a new polar axis to equatorial, the cleaning and adjusting of a photo-heliograph , supplying 'sundry missing parts, counterpoise, &c'.
