TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Drake & Gorham
Date30 July 1888
DescriptionIn reference to a recent conversation with Mr Gorham, Rix states that, having consulted with the Royal Society's porter, the most convenient hours for running the engine are between 10am and 5pm, on any days except Thursday and Saturday. He hopes thay will try to keep to these hours as far as convenient. Although cases of emergency may require them to break this rule, these should be regarded as exceptional occasions.
