TitleCopy letter from Theodore E James, to H B Stuart
Date31 August 1888
DescriptionJames notes receipt of Stuart's letter of 28 August, providing a list of books which he wishes to consult in the Royal Society Library. As the library contains books and manuscripts unobtainable elsewhere, the Society likes to know about the 'nature and object' of research using that material as undertaken by individuals from outside the Society. James apologises for the delay this may cause, but asks for information on his research.
