TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor George Gabriel Stokes, President of the Royal Society

DescriptionRix has received from John Evans, the Royal Society Treasurer, the 'Lighthouse Illuminants' letter, and asks if the letter concerning the Government Grant Administrator is with Stokes. If so, Rix asks that he bring it to for use at the Council. The Secretaries suggested 2.30pm for the Council on 25 October, and Rix asks for approval to summon at that hour.

Five Government Grant cheques have been enclosed for Stokes' signature [not included].
