TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to William Crookes, Fellow of the Royal Society

DescriptionFoster has the pleasure to inform Crookes that he has been awarded the Davy Medal by the President and Council of the Royal Society for his 'investigations on the behaviour of substances under the influences of the electric discharge in a high vacuum'. The Society hopes that Crookes will be able to attend the Anniversary Meeting of the Society on 30 November to receive the Medal from the President.
