DescriptionWith regard to the 137 pounds, 19 shillings and three pence received from the Royal Society as a dividend on Madras Rail Guaranteed 5% stock, Rix notes it would be convenient in future to pay this directly to Robarts, Lubbock & Company. Asks if they will supply the necessary form for this purpose.

Rix also asks that the pass-book arrives before noon on Thursday, rather than on Friday as they stated in their letter.
