Last time it was around £44, and Rix believes it better to promise £45 and give £50 than the other way around.
Rix also spoke to the President about Mr Jackson's application and discovered Foster had already mentioned it, and he said that they may consider the minute passed.
Rix has also looked at the matter of John Newport Langley and H M Fletcher and reports that Langley will have his proofs almost immediately. The manuscript was delayed as Rix suspected it was 'barred by the horny sponges'. |
