DescriptionEncloses for information a letter received today from the Foreign Office reporting arrangements made to facilitate the operations of the [solar] eclipse expedition.

Also encloses two letters from the Admiralty relating to the conveyance of observers on Her Majesty's Ships, and a further letter from the Foreign Office reporting instructions given for assistance to be offered to observers by the Vice-Consul.

Asks for the letters back to be placed before Council at its next meeting. [No enclosures]
