DescriptionThanks the Under Secretary for his Communication of the 25 April, enclosing a copy of a despatch from Her Majesty's Consul General at New York, but it is not at present proposed to send an expedition from England to the United States of America to observe the forthcoming solar eclipse. Due note will be made of the facilities so kindly offered by the United States Government.
