DescriptionRucker is directed by the President and Council of the Royal Sociey to beg that Her Majesty's Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs will have the thanks of the Society conveyed through the proper channel to the Spanish Government for the valuable assistance given to the expedition to Alicante to observe the total solar eclipse. In particular the President and Council would be glad if their special thanks might be conveyed to 12 listed individuals, mainly from Santa Pola.
