Date30 January 1900
DescriptionThe enclosed paper which was passed and published in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' under the provisions of Standing Order 33 [not enclosed], still remains on the list of papers requiring the formal approval of Council, since the action taken has not yet received the formal confirmation of the Sectional Committee for Geology, of which Blanford is Chairman. Asks if Blanford approves of a circular being sent round to the members of the Sectional Committee in the form of a draft Minute, which the members can sign, and so settle the matter by correspondence. Encloses such a minute which if Blanford approves, he might sign and return [not enclosed].
