|Among the medals awarded by the Royal Society at its Anniversary Meeting last week was the Davy Medal to Professor Guglielmo Koerner, in recognition of his brilliant investigations on the Position Theory of the Aromatic Compounds. Koerner could not attend the meeting in person and Thorpe therefore asks if the Ambassador will arrange for the medal to safely reach the Professor.
