TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to William Henry Wesley, Royal Astronomical Society
Date24 July 1900
DescriptionWith reference to Wesley's note, Harrison does not remember and has no trace of previous requests for the names of the Observatories Committee for Professor Naegamvala, but he does not on principle approve of providing the individual names of Committee members to outsiders. Any matter for the Committee ought to come to the Society officially. Desire for the names of members generally means an attempt to influence them individually in some matter that ought to be considered by that Committee as a whole.
