Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Robert Bellamy Clifton, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 21 January 1901 |
Description | Encloses three cards containing particulars of new papers received [not enclosed]. Also encloses a letter from Professor Turner with reference to his paper [not enclosed]. In the absence of Professor [Arthur William] Rucker, Sir M Foster is willing to accept all three papers for reading provided Clifton joins with him as Chairman in doing so.
Regarding Lord Rayleigh's paper, the next step is to nominate referees. Does not imagine this step will be necessary in the case of Turner's paper so that the publication of this paper and Mr Dyson's may be proceeded with at once under Standing Order 33. |
