Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Silvanus [Phillips] Thomson, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 24 April 1901 |
Description | Has been unable to reply to his kind offer of a demonstration of the growth of magnetic fields at the soiree on th 8 May, but informs him invitations for demonstrations in the meeting room have already gone out in numbers sufficient to fill up that section of the evening's programme. Suggests that his proposed demonstration might be given in another room, and if he agrees to send forward particulars. If an exhibit organized in the meeting room falls through, then his demonstration could be transferred to that room. Harrison offers his officer for the demonstration. |
