TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr G Lindsay Johnson, Cortins, 24 Netherhall Gardens, South Hampstead, N.W.
Date18 May 1901
DescriptionHarrison is having difficulty pricing Johnson's paper on the 'Mammalian Eye', which he is now handing over for press. It is custom to calculate the published price upon all the costs of publication, but as Johnson has contributed a large amount, Harrison feels he should be consulted. He explains that if Johnson wants the paper to be circulated widely, then a lower calculation is recommended. If he wants to make a return on the large expenditure he has incurred, then that will have to be taken into consideration when pricing.
