DescriptionFoster is forwarding two enclosed letters, one from Professor Alfred Newton of Cambridge to Foster, and the other from Mr W Eagle Clarke to Professor Newton. The letters are self explanatory, but Foster is to add that the object of Mr Clarke's proposal meets with the full approval of the Royal Society, which will be very gratified if the Trinity House Corporation grants Mr Clarke the accommodation he asks for and so assist him in an interesting and important scientific inquiry.
