TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Shelford Bidwell, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date11 November 1901
DescriptionBidwell's report on Mr Porter's paper has been submitted to the Chairman of the Sectional Committee. Quotes the Chairman's reply which is that he does not think the Society can return the paper to the author with a suggestion that after careful revision it again be submitted for consideration. Thinks they should make some definite criticisms and point out how they think the paper ought to be altered. The Chairman queries if Mr Bidwell be asked to point out some of the inaccurate and unintelligible statements which he has observed in the paper.

Asks if Bidwell can supply such a statement as the Chairman suggests. Encloses the paper and Bidwell's report [not enclosed].
