|Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to H M Platnauer, The Museum, York
|12 November 1901
|Is sorry that Platnauer's enquiry concerning volumes of the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' he desires to obtain in exchange for those he sent to the Society, has so long remained unanswered. Is much obliged for the spare volumes but finds that they really have no use for them at the Society. Suggests Platnauer offers them to a bookseller and then any money obtained from their sale might be put to the purchase of the required volumes. Suggests Platnauer approach Messrs Wheldon & Company, 38 Great Queen Street.
