TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Secretary, General Post Office, E.C.
Date27 November 1901
DescriptionWith reference to Harrison's letter of 19 July complaining about careless delivery of letters addressed to the Royal Society, Harrison now encloses two envelopes of letters delivered this morning to the Chemical Society demonstrating that this carelessness continues. Notes it is also common for letters plainly addressed to the Royal Society to be delivered at the Royal Academy of Arts. Asks the Secretary to have instructions sent to the District [Post] Office to insist on greater attention being given by letter carriers.
