DescriptionAcknowledges receipt of Ross' letter to Sir M Foster, who is abroad just now, relating to the question which has been raised with regard to the award of the Darwin Medal to Professor [Giovanni Battista] Grassi. The subject is now under consideration of the Council, and Ross' communication will no doubt be taken into consideration with the other papers on the subject. Will lay Ross' letter before Sir M Foster directly he returns.
