| Description | When the project for the Bermuda Marine Biological Station was originally brought up it was regarded as an undertaking of the Colonial Government, and Professor E W MacBride of Montreal was named as the Zoologist with exceptional experience.
Council are not in a position to select and nominate a member of the superintending Committee from the list submitted by the Chancellor, and propose to modify the list by substituting MacBride's name for that of J M Greata, and leave the decision in the hands of Professor C W Eliot and the Chancellor. The nomination of the Royal Society is: The Honorable Hugo Baring, L B Stoddart, H W Bucknall and Professor E W MacBride. |
