TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir John Watney, Mercer's Hall
Date[March 1902]
DescriptionAsks if he would be so kind as to inform him where the Royal Society used to originally hold their meetings. It is generally accepted it was at Gresham College but it has been asserted that they held their meetings at Mercer's Hall. He would like the point authoritatively settled, and so requests a drawing of the building where the Royal Society used to meet.

Harrison had hoped to come to the prize evening at Mansion House, but as usual was detained longer than he expected.
