DescriptionDiscusses Souttar's paper on the capilliary electrometer, with Larmor raising some points.

States he was somewhat puzzled by the final section of Souttar's letter which said that he hopes that instrument will 'cease to excite the ridicule of the physicist', as he had not heard of such ridicule.
