TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to Dr George Carmichael Low, Uganda
Date15 October 1902
DescriptionThe Committee today met and considered Low's reports from 12 and 29 July, 14 August and 10 September. The Committee do not wish to make any change in the suggestions as to scientific work originally issued to Low and the information in the reports is not sufficient for them to do so. Explains why the Committee have decided Low should return with Dr Castellani by the way he came, and that Dr Christy should return by the Nile. States content of a telegram he has sent Low to this effect. The Committee trust that Low will have been able to clear up the question of the connection between the Sleeping Sickness and Filaria perstans, or if there is no causal connection between the two, to discover the real cause.
